This temperamental Bordeaux variety comes into its own when it basks in the warm Riverland climate. For here it can perfectly ripen to create a deep red wine with the characteristic violet bouquet and a wonderful length of cherry fruit and vibrant wild flower flavours. Cellar for up to 3 to 4 years and enjoy with roast lamb and pork or a matured cheddar.
