Description

The tyranny of distance coupled with a drought ridden river transport system helped drive the development of the South Australian railways from the mid1850’s.

The railway line running next to our vineyard was vital in originally servicing the prosperous agricultural, manufacturing and mining industries of the fledgling South Australian colony. The railway line was later operated as a heritage tourist train service until the early 2000’s. Sadly it has not been used since, however the railway crossing signal serves as a proud reminder of this history.

Aromas of citrus and melon with complex notes of cashew and honeysuckle. The palate is generous and smooth, delivering complex citrus and white nectarine flavours.
