Kingston Coonawarra
Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc
Located in this flagship and historic cool climate wine region, which is globally recognised for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz, our extensive dry grown vineyard has six different Cabernet Sauvignon clones to add a diversity of flavour.
Kingston Clare (Clare Valley)
Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon
Located in the gorgeous Clare Valley, one of South Australia’ premier wine districts situated 140km north of Adelaide. The property is located 8 kilometres east of the centre of the Clare Township. It is nestled in the northern rolling hills, surrounding by natural stands of old mature gum trees. The vineyard is predominately planted to Shiraz and Cabernet.
Kingston Mount Benson (Limestone Coast)
Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc
Situated a stone's throw from Wright's Bay, our vineyard enjoys a maritime climate to such an extent it must be protected by a network of bushes and trees. With undulating Terra Rosa soil and cooling summer sea breezes, wines from this vineyard display signature lifted aromatics and spice.
Kingston Sanctuary (Limestone Coast)
Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Chardonnay
Located in the scenic Wrattonbully wine region, to the north east of the Coonawarra, our vineyard was developed around a beautiful eco wetland which is home to a host of native wildlife adding significant diversity to the vineyard's microclimate.
The Kingston Vineyard (Riverland)
Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc
Located directly opposite the winery, this was the first broad acre vineyard that we planted ourselves. Pioneering Petit Verdot as a variety uniquely suited to the Riverland’s extended hot and dry growing season, our Kingston vineyard boasts the largest single planting of this classic variety in the Southern Hemisphere.
Kingston Enigma (Riverland)
Chardonnay, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Gewurtztraminer
Located a 5 minute drive from the winery and only 250m from the River Murray, this beautiful vineyard was planted in 2001 on sandy soils and enjoys river breezes throughout the summer months to help aerate and cool the vines.
Kingston Paringa (Riverland)
Shiraz, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc
Located north of the village of Paringa, this scenic vineyard is easily recognisable for its long rows of tall poplar trees which line the southern boundary. Situated high over the river Murray (which flows past less than a kilometre away), the vineyard has a good aspect and is the home to many of our single vineyard programs, including very high quality Sauvignon Blanc.
Kingston Kangara (Riverland)
Shiraz, Colombard, Pinot Noir, Viognier
Across the Murray river from the wildlife filled Murtho Forest Reserve, this is our largest vineyard and due to the rich soil is home to our most vigorous vines. It has plantings of a range of varieties including our vibrant (single vineyard) Pinot Noir, as well as a good number of aromatic whites.
Kingston The Lake (Central Victoria)
Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Durif, Mourvedre, Sangiovese
Situated in Central Victoria and offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, the vineyard lies on red/brown soil over limestone which attracted a Swiss immigrant in 1880 to declare the area ideal for viticulture. The dark and brooding Durif is especially prized by our winemakers.
Kingston Sunset (Murray Darling)
Shiraz, Cabernet, Chardonnay
This vineyard, due east of the winery, is actually very close to the border between the states of Victoria and New South Wales. It is fairly low yielding due to the shallow soils, resulting in grapes that display a deep intensity of flavour.
Glenbrook (Coonawarra)
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz
Located in the southern end of the Coonawarra, this is our coldest vineyard and is always the last to ripen so when it is picked we know that vintage has come to an end. Lying on the famous terra rossa soil it produces fruit of exceptional colour and flavour intensity.
Kingston Mo Sisters (Coonawarra)
Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz
Located to the south of our main Coonawarra vineyard, Mo Sisters is a relatively small triangular vineyard which was named after Bill and Ivanka's daughters, the three “Mo” Sisters. This boutique vineyard produces grapes of exceptional quality, with the delicate single vineyard Pinot Noir being the highlight.
Paradox (Limestone Coast)
Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc
Established in 1994 and 1995 the vineyard is planted to a mix of cool climate red and white varieties. Situated in the Limestone Coast Region of South Australia, the Kingston Paradox Vineyard is 15 kilometres from the coastline of the Southern Ocean and close proximity to the world renowned Coonawarra Wine Region. The location benefits the property to a unique terroir dominated by a maritime climate producing dry summers, cool winters
and reliable winter rainfall combined with sandy loam soils over soft limestone. The long and gentle growing season, are distinctive attributes leading to the production of powerful yet elegant wines.
